Natural landscapes: autumn, merging into winter

MARMOT CREEK AND UPPER FALLS, KANANASKIS COUNTRY, ALBERTA

This is a busy scene, but I hope I pulled together close (the leafy rock) and far (the waterfall) enough to make it all work. I wanted more leaves on the rock, so I grabbed what was nearby, soaked it in Marmot Creek, then ‘pasted’ it onto the rock.
