Urban landscapes: beauty before sunrise

BMO CENTRE AND SADDLEDOME, CALGARY, ALBERTA

Calgary’s spectacular new convention centre has been on my photographic to-do list since it opened in 2024. It’s the largest convention centre in western Canada, with more than a million square feet of space.
I arrived before sunrise and had plenty of time to wander around the grounds and find long-exposure scenes like this. The lighting changed constantly, so I made a dozen exposure and picked this one as the most compelling.
