Natural landscapes: STOP! in the name of snow

WINTER AT PEYTO SUMMIT, BANFF NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA

The play of light and shadow grabbed my attention and resulted in a half-hour of exploring the creative possibilities. Stepping back, I saw the amusing juxtaposition of a stop sign in the midst of the snow and it resulted in this picture.
The colour picture is pretty cool (you can see it here: https://bit.ly/PeytoSummit), but I thought keeping the sign in colour, then turning the rest of the photo into monotone would be equally compelling. Do you agree?
