Natural landscapes: Cathedral Grove
CATHEDRAL GROVE, VANCOUVER ISLAND, BRITISH COLUMBIA
All it took was a one-hour walk through just half of this un-freaking-believable forest of 300-year-old trees on Canada’s west coast to produce more than a dozen photographic “keepers”. This is Pacific rainforest at its most grand and stunning – and it has a winding, two-lane road running through the middle!

Here in semi-arid central Texas we never get to see anything as lush as this, but then British Columbia probably doesn’t have wildflowers in February the way we do. There’s always a tradeoff.

Hi Frank, love the lush scene you captured here. The Pacific rainforests are high on my list of places to visit. Old growth forests are such awesome places to explore.

Sure Frank, as an environmental science student, I can realize how rich this forest is, in terms of soil fertility and plant diversity, hence a suitable place one can love to visit as like Andrew said already. Keep us updated about your natural environments guys.
