Natural landscapes: the topography of autumn

RED AND BROWN LEAVES NEAR SULLIVAN LAKE, ONTARIO

While visiting this gorgeous lake in the eastern part of this Canadian province, I spent all kinds of time looking at the ground in search of compelling landscapes of autumn leaves. This was one of several that caught my eye. Amazing how such simplicity can offer us such artistic beauty.
