I’m always fascinated by badlands, especially in winter because I know most people have trouble even imagining snow in what is usually a hot and sun-baked landscape. These hoodoos are probably the most photographed scene in the Drumheller region, so I’m glad to show you them in late autumn. I like the colour version (you can see it here: https://bit.ly/DrumhellerHoodoo), but knew it would also make a dramatic and compelling monotone picture. Was I right?
