Rural landscapes: alone in an autumn world

GRAIN STORAGE BINS
NEAR AIRDRIE, ALBERTA

Among the many reasons I love the western Canadian prairies is the minimalist sense of empty openness. That’s what attracted me to this scene. It’s just field, grain bins and gorgeous sky. Nothing else.
Nikon D7100, tripod, 17-70 mm zoom lens, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the sky.
