Natural landscapes: on a silent winter’s day….

O’SHAUNESSY CREEK,
KANANASKIS COUNTRY, ALBERTA

This charming little stream flows out of the forest beside a mountain road in this western Canadian province.
After making pictures near the road, I followed the stream up the hill and into the woods, where scenes like this provided endless creative possibilities.
As is so often the case during overcast winter weather, there was almost no colour to be had, so it was an easy decision to create and show you a black-and-white version.
