Urban landscapes: speaking to the night
240 DUNCAN MILLS ROAD, TORONTO, ONTARIO
During a recent trip to Canada’s largest city, I was photographing traffic when I spotted some sort of brilliantly lit building just a few kilometres away. Finishing the traffic pictures, I headed over to the lights and found this amazingly illuminated office building.
Thankfully, no one (i.e. security guards) was around, so I had time to leisurely circle the building and find compositions like this. The neat thing about the lighting was it changed colour every minute or so, and that helped created new photo possibilities. In this case, I like the warm-cold contrast of the entryway and the blue elsewhere.
