Natural landscapes: beauty in the land of snow

Canada’s Rocky Mountains are always a treat to visit right after a snowfall, especially if the day is sunny. That was the case here, when I found the shadowy trees perfectly framing the snowy peak.

  1. This is such a magical snowy landscape, Frank. What I like about this photo is all the different ways the snow presents itself–heavy in the fir branches, quiet on the ground, and wispy on the mountain top.
