UPPER KANANASKIS LAKE, PETER LOUGHEED PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA
What a blessing it was to experience dawn light at this magnificent Rocky Mountain lake! The reflections made the scene truly photogenic. I liked the colour version (you can see it here: https://bit.ly/KananaskisDawn ), but even as I made the picture, I knew I’d attempt a monotone version. I prefer it because it’s more dramatic. Do you agree? Nikon D7100, tripod, 17-70 mm. zoom lens, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the top half
