Rural landscapes: the tilt of autumn

OCTOBER PRAIRIES, NEAR AIRDRIE, ALBERTA

Most hay/straw rolls have been cleared from Canadian prairie fields by October, but I lucked into this field and combined it with a truly spectacular sky to make what I hope is a memorable image. Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.

  1. Gah! This picture is photographer heaven for me! I love puffy white clouds against a gorgeous blue sky! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE round bales!! Looks like I might have to visit Alberta 🙂
