Wildlife: spring in the marsh

MALE MALLARD DUCK, WHITBY, ONTARIO

Whenever I’m visiting this town east of Toronto, I try go visit Lynde Shores Conservation Area. It’s a wonderful place for landscape and wildlife photography — especially waterfowl, which hang out in a marsh that’s easily accessible. Besides the duck, I appreciated the framing opportunities provided by the tree trunks.
Years earlier, I visited this spot in autumn and was blessed with another memorable mallard encounter: https://wp.me/p2ccTX-1ZW
