Natural landscapes: the gobsmaking dawn

CANOES ON LAKE LOUISE, ALBERTA
I arrived at this iconic western Canadian mountain lake 30 minutes before sunrise and there were already 100 people there, shivering in the -7c autumn morning.
I ended up staying away from all those folks because I wanted red in my picture and that meant sticking close to the canoe rental dock.
What can I say about this remarkable place? No wonder people spend thousands of dollars/Euros just to see it once in their lives.
Nikon D7100, tripod, 24-120 mm. zoom lens, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the mountains and sky
