Natural landscapes: autumn at the pond

WEDGE POND,
SPRAY VALLEY PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA

After spending a considerable time at this amazing Canadian Rocky Mountain pond, I was driving away and decided to stop and check a view from above.
I immediately saw there was a creative possibility and hauled out my big telephoto lens to capture this view. Removing the people would have been easy with Photoshop, but I decided to leave them in to provide perspective on the size of this epic landscape.
