Urban landscapes: beauty in the rainy night

NATURAL GAS STATION, CALGARY, ALBERTA

I’ve passed this station many times and knew it would probably make a compelling nighttime photo subject. That proved to be the case in between showers on a rainy night. Finding several puddles was a blessing to make long-exposure reflection pictures.
There was green in the station’s trim and garbage bins, but I decided to increase the light/dark drama by removing all colour.
