Natural landscapes: autumn’s intimate world

COLOURFUL LEAVES, CALGARY, ALBERTA

My first visit to Sandy Beach Park, in this western Canadian city, yielded images like this. The initial image showed promise, but there was a LOT of black spots on many of the leaves, so I spent a lot of time cleaning that up using Photoshop Elements.
Nikon D7100, tripod, 70-300 mm. zoom lens, fill-flash.
