Rural landscapes: follow the fences

FARMLAND SOUTH OF CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA

White fences often make for compelling images, so as soon as I find one, I try to make it work in a photo. In this case, I was blessed with bucolic farmland and rolling hills. The fence shadows really help to make this scene memorable.  Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the sky.

  1. I agree, a fence always add a little something extra and helps lead you eyes into the picture. Great shot!
