Natural landscapes: that sunrise moment

NEW LIGHT, WRITING ON STONE PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA

I arrived at this park about midnight and proceeded to work through most of the night, taking advantage of a strong full moon to make very interesting compositions amongst the extensive badlands flanking the winding Milk River. After snatching perhaps an hour of sleep in the van, I was up again to find fabulous viewpoints like this. Yes, that little circle is the setting moon.
Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter, graduated density (darkening) filter on the sky.
