Rural landscapes: the splash of light

SUNRISE LIGHT WEST OF COCHRANE, ALBERTA, CANADA

It was the ideal sunrise – light bursting through openings in the clouds. That meant lots of Hollywood-style lighting with a dark, dramatic sky. I’m blessed to live in a place where scenes like this are commonplace. I try never to take it for granted. Nikon D7100, tripod, 70-300 mm. lens, polarizing filter.

  1. Beatiful congrats.
