Natural landscapes: woodland waterway

SUMMER STREAM, BIG HILL SPRINGS PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA

This delightful little park, about a half-hour drive from my home in Calgary, is a wonderland of waterfalls tumbling down a woody hillside. This makes it a perfect place for overcast photos, but only early in the morning. After that the crowds arrive (especially on weekends) and the place becomes a bit of a zoo. Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.

  1. It’s always great to know when you can observe and photograph before the crowds arrive. This is a very lovely photograph, Frank. I love all the many colors of green, and your expertise in creating the rushing water.

  2. Mindig lenyűgöző számomra a természet fotozása, főleg ha olyan profi módon készíti a képeit, mint amelyet eddig láttam, ezt köszönöm. Csodálatosak a színek és a természet fényeinek látványa.
    Very nice. Beatiful photo
