AUTUMN AT CAVELL LAKE, JASPER NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA
There was so little colour in this Canadian Rockies scene that I opted for black-and-white. Absolute silence; just me and the moody, shifting clouds and fog.
Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter, graduated density filter on the peak and sky.

This is a stunning photo! Love the black and white, the amazing details in the trees and mountains and the plain sky that really highlights the other elements like the trees/mountains.
Thanks for the very kind words! 🙂
Wonderful landscape image and terrific in monochrome. Well done, Frank.
Another very nice shot, Frank. Did you convert it to black and white?
I did indeed convert to B&W. Thanks for the kind words. 🙂
