Rural landscapes: surrounded by the yellow of summer
CANOLA AND ESTATE HOME, CALGARY, ALBERTA
July is canola season in this western Canadian province, when fields are lit up with glowing yellow and smell sweet. I was driving around searching for compelling landscapes that included canola when this scene came into view. I have some close-ups of the treed property surrounded by yellow, but I also like this composition with the blue morning dome.
