Natural landscapes: the waves of sunrise
MORNING LIGHT, OTTAWA RIVER, PETAWAWA, ONTARIO
The warm sunrise light provided strong colour, but the wind whipped up the water enough to persuade me to go with a shallow depth of field in order to ‘stop’ the motion of the waves. This river serves as the border between the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. I’ve found great photo opportunities along its shores pretty much year-round.
Nikon D90, tripod, polarizing filter.

Love the colors… red, green and blue!
Thanks, Mike. Not sure I could have asked for better conditions. 🙂
