Rural landscapes: bathed in sunrise light
ANTIQUE WESTERN WAGON, COCHRANE, ALBERTA
I’ve driven past this wagon (about a half-hour from my home in Calgary) a dozen times, but it always seemed too close to a fence to make a decent photo. I finally stopped and gave it a try recently, blessed with gloriously warm sunrise light.
It was a tricky little project because suburban housing is just a few hundred feet away. This necessitated a lot of close-ups, but thanks to the light and the low perspective (about 18 inches above the ground), I think that restriction was not a problem. Agree? Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.
