Rural landscapes: dodging the raindrops

HAY FIELD AND THREATENING CLOUDS, CALGARY, ALBERTA
The tumultuous sky encouraged me to grab my photography equipment and head out to the quietly gorgeous prairies near my western Canadian home.
I found this scene and was able to find several compelling compositions, even as I had to repeatedly wipe away raindrops hitting my filters.
