Natural landscapes: saying yes to a glorious dawn

SUNRISE CLOUDS, FOOTHILLS COUNTY, ALBERTA

I got up early and travelled an hour to Frank Lake Conservation Area in hopes of capturing memorable sunrise pictures. As you can see, I was not disappointed.
This lake is very popular with waterfowl and shore birds, so everywhere I walked came with a delightful soundtrack of squawks, squeaks and every other kind of sound made by prairie birds.
