BUTTERCUPS, BIG HILL SPRINGS PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA
I’ve used this technique — zooming my lens in and out during a long exposure — often in the past. This was another occasion where I believe it paid off, making a fairly mundane subject more compelling. Big Hill Spring Provincial Park is a wonderful little spot just a half-hour’s drive from my Calgary home. It’s a place of waterfalls, forest and restful scenery. I visit it often. Nikon D7100, tripod, 24-120 mm. zoom lens, probably a polarizing filter.
