Wildlife: the grand pollinator

Fireweed is always a good photo subject and it’s even better when a bumblebee shows up in the middle of the shoot. I used a flash on this scene to highlight the flower and keep the background darker. This park, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, is named after one of Alberta’s most popular politicians (yes, a politician can leave a positive legacy).  Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.
