Rural landscapes: in the frigid, gathering dusk


The Canadian prairies were once dotted with charming, iconic grain elevators (like these: Most of them are gone, replaced by industrialized facilities constructed in strategic locations. I was driving home from a day’s photography when I encountered this, glowing in the gathering dusk. The combination of blue and red makes for a compelling photo, IMHO.  🙂
