This is an amazing place. Giant red boulders are scattered everywhere, some mostly whole but many in various states of breakdown. It’s as if God played a game of marbles here a thousand years ago, then left the marbles behind. What I like about this spot (besides the extraordinary photo opportunities, of course) is there’s pretty much no development — no gift shop and not even a washroom. It’s just you and the breathtaking prairies of western Canada. And a whole bunch of amazing boulders. Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.
