Rural landscapes: the subtle colours of spring

FARMER’S FIELD NEAR STAYNOR, ONTARIO

During our recent Ontario trip, I was driving between waterfalls when this tree, in the middle of a field with a beautiful background, came into view. It took carefully dodging around thorn bushes to set up my equipment along a fence right where the tree is between two distant forests.
Not only do I like the minimalist balance, I also like the light green colours of emerging spring growth.
