Natural landscapes: blooming in a dry world

COLORADO RUBBER PLANT, ROSEDALE, ALBERTA

This seems like a weird name for a wildflower that thrives in exposed, dry landscapes, but that’s what my research says. I really liked the scenery around this flower, so I balanced the glowing yellow with the distant western Canadian badlands.
