Natural landscapes: avoiding the pool
WINTER IN MALIGNE CANYON, JASPER NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA
When this glorious Canadian Rocky Mountain canyon freezes over, tour companies take people on guided tours to experience it from the bottom. It’s a fascinating experience and I was blessed to find this viewpoint highlighting an unfrozen pool. Because it had almost all the colour in this mostly monotone scene, I kept it in colour and turned the rest of the photo into black-and-white.
