ANCIENT PRAIRIE HOMESTEAD NEAR CARBON, ALBERTA
Early spring in much of Canada is mostly brown as the last of winter snow very reluctantly departs and summer growth is still weeks away. But there’s a charm in rustic and subtle scenes like this, especially when capped by a dramatic dark blue dome.

It’s as if the old barns here eventually took on the color of the prairie. Excellent photo, Frank.
Keoma, another little town northeast of Calgary is a great location for watching the sky; I rarely see it in sunlight!
Oh, to go back an era or two
To my childhood days when
Love and peace was in the air
And the sky was a similar hue.
